I went to Lowe’s yesterday looking for some things for a DIY project... long story short it didn’t turn out how I planned, but Derek and Chris at the Polaris location Lowe’s walked me through every inch and gave me all the right product to make my new table perfect. Seriously SO impressed! I’ll be back!
Wonderful! I stopped in at customer service looking for a decorative replacement bulb. The woman helping me walked me to the bulb isle while calling electronics. Electronics arrived in about 5 minutes. Unfortunately, they wouldn't start carrying the product until the holidays. As I was leaving the woman who started helping me asked if I had been helped (which I had) and then recommended trying Batteries Plus because they carry unique bulbs. Customer Service needs an overhaul. We ordered a whirlpool fridge on the 4th of July holiday. Salesperson told us it would be delivered July 31st. We called twice that morning to ask if the fridge was on the truck. They said yes. 1230 comes around we called a third time. They told us they had to place the order for the manufacturer to order it. Weird experience tonight. When checking out another person took over from the clerk we had. And, another Lowe's person came over and said the ladder I was buying wasn't discounted when it was! Then I presented a receipt that allowed for an 11% discount thru Nov. 27th. My wife thought she could get another 5% off by using her Lowe's card. The clerk said that would be "Double-Dipping." My wife took offense to that term. Why shouldn't a person with a Lowe's credit card have extra privileges and an extra 5% discount. Anyway, the... read more
Absolutely horrible experience with two door purchases. Waited two months and turned out to be wrong size, other door install caused water leaking into our home. Don't buy your doors at Lowe's.
