I bought and paid for a pergola on Friday, July 27. I was told it would be disassembled and ready for me to pick up within two days. (It was the last and a display model) It is now Tuesday and I am standing in front of the completely assembled pergola. They have not yet bothered to begin the dissembling process. Spent close to $4,000 in fencing materials and spoke to the Delivery Dept at this store asking for a call the night before the day of my delivery to get a 2 hour delivery window. I was PROMISED a call the night before with my delivery window of when the truck would arrive. Never got the call, so I called the store AGAIN today, where I was informed they don’t do calls the day before (the exact opposite of what I was told earlier) and I have to wait until the day of my delivery to find out when the truck is coming. I bought a light. I took it home. Opened the box. It was not the light advertised on the box. Would not refund me.
They couldn’t complete my purchase of a washer and dryer because they only had the washer in stock. They said the Polaris store has the dryer but we would have to go there to purchase the dryer. Sales guy said he doesn’t care because he doesn’t get commission. A seriously simple logistics problem cost them about 1500 dollars. To sum it up the people at this store could care less if you buy from them/Lowe’s may have a serious logistics problem if they can coordinate a sale between two stores within miles of each other. I recently moved and needed to replace my 4"x6' dryer vent hose to an 4"x8' one. Came in and picked up what I needed only to find out that although the description on the package said that the piece was 4"x8', it was the exact same size as my original hose(I measured the new piece).
Terrible experience! Will never buy another appliance from Lowe’s again!!!!!! Ordered a refrigerator got delivered broken, sent it back had another one delivered the same day and it was broken as well.... When calling for the 3rd time to complain about the situation it just seemed no one cared to handle the situation the right way. So still here with a broken fridge waiting for someone to contact me to schedule a 3rd delivery!
I ordered an item online for in store pick up (a flag) because it's more convenient for me to do a quick pick up with 2 small children. I found the customer service area to be understaffed with 1 worker trying to manage both sides of the service desk. I had to wait for 20 minutes to pick up my item with a screaming toddler (who had enough of waiting).
