I ordered a smoker for my husband for Christmas. They kept rescheduling the delivery saying it was in stock and then magically it wasn't each time. They ended up giving me the display and the woman in shipping dept was super rude and awful. She ended up somehow putting the wrong address in the system. We thought we'd give Lowe's a try instead of our usual retailer and boy, are we sorry we did. Pressed for time, we purchased fully assembled in stock cabinets online in early November. Lowe's promised delivery to the store with eight days, after which the store would deliver to us. This was before Thanksgiving and we were looking to complete a minor kitchen remodel before having 10 people over for the holiday. Worst customer service ever. Won't send a technician out to fix a refrigerator that is under warranty. If you care about customer service go elsewhere.
Ordered a grill online and had it shipped to the Lowe's Home Improvement in Alexandria, VA. The box weighs 140 lbs. Store personnel loaded it into our car for my wife who went to pick it up. We get it home, unload it and find a 6"x4" hole in the box (very obvious) with the product damaged inside. There is NO WAY store personnel didn't see this hole. In fact, the tape on the top of the box was cut open, so I'm fairly sure someone saw the hole, opened the box, saw the damaged product and said, "Oh, well...." Now I have to load... read more
