Helpful staff, great store! If you're looking for paint, wood, cabinets, or anything else for your house, Lowes is the place to go. You'll find people willing to help on any aisle. The prices are also incredibly reasonable. Parking is not an issue as it is located in a strip mall on Route 1 (Richmond Highway). It is also very easy to get to, just about a 5 minute drive from I-495.
NIGHTMARE! AVOID....NOT(!) WORTH A FEW $$$"s SAVED...AVOID!! Spent over $4,800 on GE Profile gas range, refrigerator & microwave as well as Bosch dishwasher. Refrigerator was damaged during installation 19 days ago and remains damaged as they schedule appts to repair and fail to show up! It's a small part and I don't want a new refrig as they damaged walls during 1st delivery and kit renovation is now complete. Walls repaired in process and don't want to risk damage by Lowe's. Where's the help? I felt like Moses in the desert here! Very understaffed and non informed employees make a trip here one of life's frustrations. I like their selection and the prices, but if you are looking for a specific item and can't find it, good luck getting anyone to help.
No Large Purchases I was trying to purchase two exterior doors for my house. It had to be a special order that took 30 days. Next thing I know I have half of my refund sent to me in the mail. When I called they stated that they thought I wanted to cancel the order. When I showed up personally they stated that the order had never been sent in. The employee had been let go a week prior. Mrs NIGHTMARE ! We bought a washing machine as well as a dryer. The home delivery was supposed to take place last Sunday, then we were told that it will be delivered the following Monday. I took a day off for the delivery. On Tuesday that in fact nothing was scheduled to be deliver on Monday. I asked them when the delivery will take place, No clue....I tried to call all day today the Lowes location in Alexandria. The line is busy since this morning ... I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN !
Because of @Lowes #ServicePros project FAIL, I will be entertaining guests this weekend with an incomplete, improperly installed flooring project that represents a safety hazard and is delaying my efforts to get my home upgraded to sell. It's been 3 months since this saga started. I have been a loyal customer, dropping $14K+ in your stores in the past three years. It's way past time for @Lowes to make this right.
Just spent an hour trying to get help re: hot water heater. I’m done.
Great prices but nobody to serve you. Shop all empty. Ordered a pick up because I wanted a fast in and out. This was my second attempt to pick up my order. Yesterday I gave up after waiting 10 minutes. In front of me was a lady picking up something and she had 4 employees assisting her so they did not have time to serve the next person in the line.
