Went last week to talk about redoing my kitchen. We met with a Lowe’s employee who was very informative and very nice . We actually were going to go with Lowe’s but sitting across from us was a manager talking to a Lowe’s employee and telling them he doesn’t care what the customer wants and that there’s not a B option because they will make it not an option and that the customer will have to deal with what we give them! Selected a 1 because zero is not an option. We bought a swing for Christmas as a present for my boyfriend's mom. Three parts were missing from the box. We called "Garden Treasures" (a division of Lowes) to get the missing parts and first they wanted to charge us $37 for shipping THEN after we refused they wanted to charge us $9 for tax?!?! I ordered my back yard fence from Lowes two years ago and met the most amicable, most caring salesman Brian Sweeney. Mr Sweeney proved to be all that an honest, hardworking human being can be. He not only makd sure my fence was in properly but remembered me years later when I had a hole in my fence and it needed a repair. My husband and I have a high regard for Lowes because of the type of people they hire. Thank you Brian for being all that you are.
Was told that my retired military ID was just a VA card and as of next month it's no good and to register online. Then online said it could not verify my service. Home Depot never gives me a problem.
