Horrible customer service all the way to the manager and the Beavercreek Ohio Lowes. Never consistent help and rude when you finally get their attention. I was told it was a problem to help me because it takes an extra staff member. Confused me....bc what else are they there for?
Have been trying to get a measurement appointment for weeks now. I was told that the lady would be in at 8 this morning, but had appointments starting at 10, so I got there a bit after 8 only to be told that she would not be in until 10! This was my 3rd attempt. Did not think it would so difficult and frustrating to purchase an island for my kitchen.
Rang for customer assistance. Well over 15 minute wait. Even though its announced over head over six times that someone needs assistance. Multiple employees in other aisles but no one can come to at least see what I need. Finally guy named Keith shows up. And you can't even ask him a question because he's too busy on the phone. I wait for about a minute to try and ask him. I finally walk away. As I'm about to turn the corner to the aisle. Bought a water heater from Lowes, they pulled the wrong one (short instead of tall, gas instead of electric). They then brought out the right one but it had a huge hole in the box and you could feel a giant dent in the water heater. Had to have them go get yet another one to get a water heater to take home. No one was paying attention to what they were doing and I wasted an hour because of these issues.
They rescheduled the delivery of our clothes dryer to 5 days later. My husband gave them his phone number to call instead of mine, and told them it would have to be after 2:30 due to his work schedule. They ignored these instructions completely and called my phone (no answer) and tried to deliver it around 12:30 anyway. There is more to this story, but it's bad enough already to keep us from purchasing there in the future! Sooooo angry!
We bought a dishwasher and freezer two weeks ago, and scheduled delivery for this morning from 10-12. Took time off work, then we get a call at 11:50 that delivery will be today from 2-5. Well I guess I'm missing a whole day of work! Guess which home improvement store we're not using for the rehab on a rental home we just purchased? Simple things. In the morning you look at the delivery list and call everyone so they don't waste their time.
It seems like every time I come to this store I have to search the overstocks for the correct items or for items that haven't been filled by their stock crew. It truly is a pain in the neck to have to do their job on top of mine.
