Delivery is incredible. No call, no show, no notification, just a random reschedule if they can't be bothered to deliver the product. Called the store and knew it wasn't Lowe's customer care because the guy who answered obviously didn't. The guy didn't seem to know or want to divulge the manager's name, told me to call back later.
I just finished a large, by DIY standards, deck repair and expansion. Almost all the lumber and hardware came from the store in Republic. The people I encountered there were without exception helpful and friendly. I would like sent a "Way to go Girl" to one Angela Rodriguez. She went out of her way to help an old Redneck, who is a mechanic by trade, get the initial order together. Without her I would have been forced to make twice as many trips. I purchased a power washer here a few hours ago, went home did my chores, then put it together. Got it completely put together only to realize the bottom was so bent, u couldn’t connect the hoses. I came in to raise hell because it was a HUGE inconvenience but they agreed to exchange it and put it together for me!!! That’s great customer service!
I had a pleasant experience at Lowe’s today. I’ve been there multiple times, many of those spent losing a big cart with ~10 bags of dirt and mulch and then loading those same bags in my car. Every other time before not a single employee has offered any sort of help. Like they would walk right by me and not even say hi. Today was different. Requested Plexiglass cut to a 8" x 12", but I was handed a piece that was cut to 9" x 14 1/2" with the excuse that the cutter isn't very precise. Not precise is a quarter inch max, not several inches.
Don’t do delivery with them. Get it yourself. Tbh.
