My husband is a retired Army veteran with 20+ years of service. We have been unable to verify his veteran's status thru Lowe's "online system" as well as thru Customer Service in the store. The fact that Lowe's has required veterans to jump thru these hoops rather than simply showing their military ID card is ridiculous. From now on, Home Depot will get my business, they are happy to provide the same military discount as Lowe's with an easier, more common sense approach.
The best Lowe's by far! They know me by name and always help me with my list when I come in. Thanks alot and keep up the great customer service.
An extremely horrible experience. Ordered flooring and I waited. I called to check on status it was never ordered and I was accused of never buying ( I used a Christmas gift card). My husband brought in receipt and they finally acknowledged we did buy it and the cashier marked our special order as if we walked out of the store with product. Ordered again. We love going to Lowe's and buys almost everything we need at this store. We were looking for Ceiling fan just this afternoon and waiting for help. Finally, an African American skinny gentleman,( walking towards us) we thought was going to help us, kept walking. We ask him about a ceiling fan and he answered, "order online". Then I asked how long before we get it, he said, "7-10 days" and he continued walking. I thought that was rude and unprofessional. We felt like we're interrupting him for something more important. Me and my son love the free Lowe's Build & Grow work shops! Occasionally I find the unusual hardware that I can't locate elsewhere! Love the stores layout! Got to see all the Halloween inflatable on display! And the Garden is number year round!
Lance and David in the lawn mower department are awesome. Lance delivered our Zero Turn and was very thorough with the instructions. He is very knowledgeable and super friendly. David was outstanding and a ton of help when I called last week. Thank you both so much for your help and for your great customer service.
Ordered a washer first week of august. Was to be delivered the 18 th of August. Called to say now it would be September 1st before it will be here because the one I ordered came in damaged and it will take until the 1st to get another in. Why does it take them so long to get another in? Never had this problem with Sears or our local appliance store.
