I would not order something to be delivered to the store for pick up. Ordered a hedge trimmer on June 30. Two days later received a scheduled pick up date for July 9. One month later, after phone calls, emails. More promises. NOTHING. Lowes gave this information on their web site as contact ---CustomerCare@lowes.com Just received this email in response. "The email address you’ve reached is unavailable. If you need assistance from Lowe’s, please call 1-800-44-Lowes." Lowes is a JOKE>

I went to Lowe's on Woodruff Road in Greenville SC to buy a miter saw. It was Memorial Day Weekend so they were giving the 10% military discount. The miter saw was on sale so I thought this would have been a really good deal. When paying I was informed that I could not get the military discount on sale items. If I had ordered to pickup in store I could have gotten the sale price and military discount. No other Lowe's in the area has this policy. I called Lowes this morning to inquire about their woodcutting service. I need to purchase 5 sheets of plywood and have them cut into 8" strips. After being transferred 3 times on the first call and twice on the second I decided to ask for a manager (No luck, the manager was busy in a morning meeting to discuss how to serve customers better). I'm absolutely sick of poor customer service. Just to be clear I have cash on hand and I am gainfully employed so you are losing repeat business.

Very nice place. People working there are very polite and helpful. So many stores cut back on associates and service takes the hit. Thanks Lowe’s for awesome people and service.

Lowe's uses bottom of the barrel contractors. I've seen it first hand. Why else would a contractor accept 1/2 of the going rate of construction work? Never use Lowe's, go get a good referral from a friend or someone you know, never use Lowe's or Home Depot.

I ordered an appliance online and called Lowe’s 5 times to check if it had arrived since I got two different emails one saying it arrived and the other one saying it was delayed, I got hung up all 5 times. Finally got through and spoke to a “manager” that never even apologized and sounded completely unprofessional. Please check on your employees and do some customer service training.
