I often read that social media has great power and in fact we see it every day. So as a consumer I want to tell you all that yesterday I was the victim of the worst customer service ever by Lowe’s in Fernandina Beach/Yulee. A new fridge was to be delivered between noon and 4. Don’t ever get a cashiers check made out to Lowe’s at closing of your home. We went there and showed customer service the picture of the proposed check before we signed closing documents to make sure it could be exchanged for a gift card to replace flooring in the home. The rep said oh yes it will! No problem! Showed up with the actual check only to be told, they can’t. $5,000 worth of a cashier’s check! Anyone looking for flooring or installers, use Lowe's at your own risk. 5000.00 and now hiring a private contractor to fix their mess! In addition, Service Pro out of Morehead City is also a disreputable company. They were contracted by Lowes as a professional installer. Their inspector stood in my house and lied to myself and my wife to cover their butts! Stay away! Just tried to look up their address, they gave my wife and it doesn't exist.
