Lowe's has changed delivery providers to "Spirit Logistics" and no longer accepts responsibility for communication or damaged items. DO NOT HAVE THEM DELIVER YOUR APPLIANCES! Things will be scheduled 1.5 months out and you will get no advanced notification the day before, the day of, or even 30 minutes before a driver shows up. Good luck if you're supposed to work on that day. Lowe's and Spirit expect you to just sit around and hope that someone will show up some time with the things you paid for. I am a contractor who spends a lot of time in Lowe’s and I have come to expect poor service from box stores. This time It was not that the service was poor, it was nonexistent. I counted 5 employees in the store and two of them were cashiers. For people like me that cone to your store that are knowledgeable on what we need and can’t find someone to help is one thing but think about the average homeowner that is just getting into diy and has not got the help they deserve. First my son ordered engineered hardwood flooring for his 2nd floor of his house. Around 1300 square feet. Half of it when it came in was not the right color as the rest! He ordered all one color! Was terrible trying to return it and get right color! Second time much of it was again wrong!! Also half the room dividers were different color SS again send back re order! Both times they were very uncooperative!! 4 months later he ordered Dryer with delivery! Again a SCREW UP ON THEIR PART! Home Depot will always be his and my ON... read more
My issue is just not enough help. Period. I guess it's the thing these days.
I went into this store to have a key made at 7pm on a Saturday. I went to hardware and no one was there so I hit the customer service button. A guy comes walking over and asks if I need a key made. To my response of yes, he replied "there's no one here that can do that and I'm in paint...you're out of luck."
I am done with this store and Lowe's in general. Arranged for 4 timbers to be delivered Saturday morning and had a friend coming from out of town to help with the project. 3pm came and no delivery, no phone call. I called the store only to get: "Sorry... our driver didn't show up today. It will have to be tomorrow." Called at 8am today and now: "Sorry, we don't have a driver OR the proper truck to deliver it... It will be tomorrow..." No idea when my friend can return to help out now... Pathetic customer service and complete... read more
We have been in the process of ordering blinds and getting them installed for nearly 3 months now- something that should only take a couple weeks. After placing our initial order wrong, the blinds we finally received were too short. We were told they were ordered correctly, now after 2 weeks with no word we call to find that they haven't been ordered. And nobody can give us any information because there is only one woman who works in the blinds department and she works part time. We are extremely frustrated and disappointed ... read more
