The last of the great golden age Kinston eating establishments, almost across the street from the site of the legendary Pulley's Barbecue, Lovick's has been with us since 1941. My daddy introduced me to the doeburger there in the 1960s. I have done the same with my kids, even though we had to travel from where we live in Maryland to do it. Their other food is yummy, too...but when your chances to visit are as seldom as mine, it's, "Two doeburgers, all the way, please!"---Kenny Heath, Cumberland, MD(originally, Maysville, NC)
Country cooking food and everything was hot and delicious... definitely recommend going
