Was told by their staff that they do eye exams for children/toddlers and that was far from the experience we received - left half way through our exam because the eye doctor (didn’t even get her name because she didn’t introduce herself to me or my son but, was not Dr Loveland) didn’t know how to do an exam on a toddler. I wouldn’t sent any children under 6 there.

Since your child is age 2, that appointment should not have been scheduled. I would recommend the Children's Pediatric Ophthalmology Group in Glastonbury and Farmington as they see one and two year olds there. I would be happy to assist you in a referral. The place is very clean and nice. What I believe I spoke with was the Optometrist who seemed very willing to help me with finding lenses for my 3 year old. They didn’t carry any that my vision plan had. Unfortunately the front desk staff seemed clueless. All very nice girls but out of four none were helpful. All together a very aggravating experience.
RecommendedAbsolutely super friendly people! Impressive selection of frames. Doctor S was technically awesome and had excellent discussions on my eyes and my issues. My new friend Alice is my favorite ❤️. Alice was soooo friendly and helpful. Definitely highly recommend 👍👍❤️❤️
They are professional and treat me very well. They remodeled and it looks wonderful.
Catherine is a wonderful asset to this practice. She takes the time to help me find the styles I want and work with me and my insurance coverage. Outgoing, full of fun and always has a smile... you’ll love working with Cat... take a visit and ask for her! She makes eye care a blast!

Dr. Loveland takes her time with your exams, she makes you feel like she cares about her patients, you’ll leave knowing that you’ll be able to see what’s in front of you. Great dr with large selection of eye ware to choose from
I went there yesterday with an emergency - I needed my eyeglasses repaired because I accidently stepped on them. First of all, they were pleasant and receptive on the phone, and I did not wait long to see someone. Moreover, the optician who worked on my glasses could not have been more helpful. She did repair the glasses, but suggested I get new pair soon. She was not pushy or aggressive, and since I do not have insurance, she went over payment options.
