I'll admit...at the beginning it took forever to get 1st appointment then over a year to find out his name had been somehow dropped off the list. That completely contradicts the "early diagnosis and quick treatment" BUT since he's been in ABA therapy here it's been amazing. He is happy to go. He has learned so much. His behavior has improved significantly! He loves his therapists and they are great with him. I feel safe and happy there. Im kept informed on things. Not a safe space for your children. They take people they are interviewing in to watch your child's treatment including having people they have done 0 background checks on watching your children pee. This place needs shutdown
I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the service we have received here. My daughter was evaluated here in APRIL 2024 and we still have not received her diagnostic report and it’s coming up on a year. I was told I would receive it 6 weeks after the evaluation. I have continued to call requesting this information since MID MAY 2024. It is NOW MARCH 2025! This has caused a delay in my child receiving ABA therapy and obtaining other resources she may need or is entitled to!!!
I took my daughter to the Louisiana Autism center before she was diagnosed. He talked to us for a literal 10 minutes and determined that she is not autistic. We then made the decision to take her to Lafayette and get her evaluated by a competent psychologist, who actually spent several hours evaluating her. She determined that she has Autism and ADHD and that it was pretty noticeable and profound and very odd that the doctor did not pick up on it. For the doctor to tell us that my son is not autism because he can say his name and age is the dumb thing i ever heard. My son got diagnosed when he was two years old and beyind spectrum diagnosed him. He goes to Mb therapy as well. Just a waste of my visit that I wouldn't never come back or referral anyone. Only spoke to my son about five minutes and just come out rude saying he is not autism. You just sad and pathetic
