I go to Genesis Medical Associates (Dr. Heyl) in West View PA, 15229. I usually see a P.A. On New Year's Day 2017. I had been up the night before having difficulty breathing, and coughing hard as to make me vomit, I refused to go to the E.R. because usually when I do that they look at me like I'm an Alien case in point. I've been a patient here since I was a baby, and the doctors are wonderful. However the reception staff and some of the aides have been terribly rude at times and it's made me question my decision to return. The recent schedule changes- closing on Fridays, reserving the afternoon schedule for same-day appointments only- have also made it difficult to make an appointment as I work in the morning/early afternoon and can't miss work.

I'm a young woman in her mid-twenties and I have been going to Dr. Heyl since I can remember. I have never had a bad experience and would always reccomend Dr. Heyl and his practice to anyone looking for an experienced yet caring doctor. He's helped me through many health issues and he genuinely cares for his patients. I'll be forever thankful that my family chose him for our care since I was a child. Also, the staff is awesome.
