Dr. Levitt is an excellent physician and I have continued to see him for all my medical needs as it applies to his practice area. In addition, I have referred many colleagues and friends to him. His assistances are always positive, courteous and excellent care givers! This overall experience keeps me committed to this practice under Dr. Levitt's!
Dr. Levitt has been my orthopedic surgeon for over 10 years and in my opinion, the best in the D.C. vicinity! Ten stars for Dr. Levitt! Thank you.
Superb diagnostician! I've been to several orthopedic surgeons and Dr Levitt finally diagnosed my problem correctly. I'm now pain free.
He does not care about patients, does not let you even talk. Waste of time!!!!
I waited over an hour for the doctor who then spent less than 10 minutes with me. I went to see him about numbness in my arm. I suspected carpal tunnel syndrome. The doctor asked if I had pain at night and I didn't. He said that it means it is not CTS. No testing, no further exam. He told me it was tendonitis and I only needed to rest it. I went to another doctor who ordered a nerve conduction study. It confirmed CTS and extensive nerve damage.
Waited an hour for 15 min with the doctor. He spent 95% of that time talking; very little listening. Gave a generic diagnosis. How can you diagnose a problem if you won't even let the patient talk? And front desk staff were rude.
I waited in a paper gown for over a hour. I heard 3 patients conversations with the dr. HIPPA is not a concern. 2 patients were sent by workmen's comp. The dr was rude with both and very nasty with them. The 3rd patient was treated with respect and the dr had a different attitude. I felt like my evaluation was not as thorough as the evaluation with my own dr. Yet, he will give a rating based on a 10 minute evaluation.
Some become doctors because they want to help people. Others become doctors because they want a trophy wife and a fast car. Dr. Levitt resides solidly in the latter camp, while his partner, Dr. Danziger, resides in the former. I had half a dozen appointments with Levitt and yet have spent less than an hour in his presence. He double books patients and as a result is rushed, doesn't take the time to answer questions, and will frequently pop in and out of the room during conversations (this after a substantial wait in both the... read more
The doctor's report did not reflect the evaluation done. It is very clear, he will say what the employer wants him to say. He recommended light duty and on the same report, returned me to work without seeing me for a follow up. How can he know if there is any improvement without seeing me again. He must be God.
