Thanks to Dr. Ranka for quickly check-up my twins, we were admitted 30 minutes faster without any problems
Visited two ophthalmologists for my son's issue. Dr. Furlan's office spent less time and failed to diagnose any issue (which was subsequently diagnosed by another office). The issue was subtle and complex. I'm sure Dr. Furlan's is highly capable, but they missed it in this situation.
Doctor and staff take their time and always are very helpful.

What can be better than a skilled, well-trained doctor who is also kid-friendly? Dr. Ranka is precisely that! My kids have seen different peds ophthalmologists throughout the years, and Dr. Ranka came highly recommended by... One of our sons who saw him for an emergency appointment. He's thorough, upbeat, calm, and explains his thought process. Thank you for taking such good care of our daughter.

Eye muscle surgery. My parents did not do it to me when I was a little girl. With the high expertise of Dr. Ranka it was possible to fix it at my mature age (over 70). He is great in every aspect of ophthalmology: diagnoses (Borough Park office), surgery (NYU Langone, Manhattan), guidance. Professional, knowledgeable, highly educated, kind, polite, responsive. Explains everything in details. Highly recommend to go with him.
