multiple extractions and routine care. He was attentive and caring and was perfectly in relation with all of my responses concerning my teeth sensitivity and being careful to know exactly what to ask and when my tooth nerve sensitivity reaction, etc, etc, etc. Icannot say enough about this Doctor. Hwas so nice so well put together in EVERY category. Ifelt as though he had done my teeth a thousand times although this was my first visit. I could write all day about the shining example of a dentist this guy is.

Horrible Experience. Was told he was a good dentist and was African American. I have a good job with good insurance. First of all, he was not friendly at all. I explained that I wanted prettier teeth. He rudely said that it was nothing he could do...said I needed braces...made me feel like I had the worst teeth. He didnt take xrays, nor examined my mouth, check for pain or cavities, etc. I was mortified! I work with the public and I would not have gotten hired if my teeth were ugly. The place is too dark. All other dentist offices I have been to over the years have had a bright look of cleanliness as any medical facility should. The reception room looks comforting but where the procedure actually takes place is a different story. I also want to see the tools laid out and displayed instead of just pulling things out of no where and putting them in my mouth. I want to know they are clean and have not been already used. I have referred many friends and my husband to Dr. Rutland. He works well with your insurance, facility was renovated to state of the art. He is the first dentist who provides pain free care. He stays clinically up to date, attends conferences.

Dr. Rutland has excellent bedside manner. He make you confortable and relax. when you leave his office there is little to no pain.

I Love Dr. Rutland because he makes you feel like family not just a patient. His staff is friendly and also make you feel like family not just a patient. The office is so clean and makes you feel comfortable to go back every time. Not once have i had a bad expreience there. He is by far the BEST Dentist on the South Side of Chicago!! Whenever somebody is in need of a dentist I always recommmend him to them. He will work with you on the cost of the treatment.

Dr. Rutland, is the best , it's always a wonderful experience whenever I have to visit his office. He's quick and good. I love the service and his professionalism, I recommend him all the time he's a nice family man who enjoy his profession and I'm grateful to call him my dentist.
