Awesomely bouncy beautiful hair – It was my first time visitng Lotus. I was nervous at first but my stylist, Eddie, helped me feel at ease right away. I seriously think that he read my mind because he cut and styled my hair exactly how I wanted it. I looked like a Victorias Secret model when he was done with my hair. AMAZING!! He is very talented and has a great eye for flattering styles. Also he listened to what I asked for and made me feel comfortable. I highly reccommed this place.
Talented hair magicians make you look great in this haven of style – This salon is consistently great over the years. They always have very talented staff. I see Eddie there who I cant recommend highly enough. He listens to what you ask for and offers his own suggestions within what you have outlined. He gave me the best highligts I have ever had. Oh yes – I was a Salon Goldilocks. In the 5 years I have lived in the city, it feels like I've tried this one, that one, and another in-between. Finally, a salon and a stylist who are juuuust right. Usually I'd go to a stylist for a first visit and really like the cut, a second visit and still pretty much like it but a bit less, and then by the third visit the stylist's work would let me down. Walk-ins waiting for their turn can relax on a pea-green chaise and peruse the myriad of magazines and fliers at the front.
great value . great service . great haircut – ive walked by this salon a dozen times, so i thought id try it for a haircut . the warm atmosphere and the friendly staff made me feel very comfortable. the price was extremely reasonable for a really wonderful haircut. i will for sure come back to this very laid back and no nonsense salon .
A male's mediocre experience – The decor and lay out were great, but I went for a haircut. Maybe I went when the lady had an off day. I believe she wasn't very attentive. My hair look very mediocre and by the time I went home I realized some of my hair wasn't even. The end result was an expensive, mediocre haircut. Personally, next time I'll pay a little more and go somewhere else or return for a different stylist.

Best Men's haircut evAr! – Recently experienced the best men's haircut EVAR here. The staff was very friendly and extremely accomodating. They even let me sip my coffee in between snips! The atmosphere was fanstastic as was the attention to my whims. I requested to be shampooed and rinsed a third time when the cut was 100% finished and Ali (so sweet of her!) gladly obliged. They work WITH you on a style with suggestions, and don't impose their "creative" vision like some other salons. Highly super-duper recommended!
Stylish, relaxed, professional salon – Ali Zake has been cutting/coloring my hair for some time and I was really pleased when she joined the staff at Lotus Salon. The atmosphere is relaxed, but I could tell right away that the stylists were skillful and professional. The prices are very reasonable and a great value for the service and the neighborhood.
