I do not recommend this convalescent hospital at all. Completely unprofessional and often rude to the patients and their family members. They have poor communication and if you try to call or speak to someone regarding issues, they have excuses and are quite defensive. A lot of times, I was told that the correct person that I need to speak with is either not at work that day and or in a meeting and they would need to take a message and they would call me back, but I have yet to receive any calls back from them regarding my f... read more
A Wonderful Experience at Los Palos Post-Acute! I recently had the opportunity to visit Los Palos Post-Acute in San Pedro, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! Beds full of patients, but not enough staff or "nurses" to take proper care of them.Some days the halls seemed full of "nurses", other days it looked like maybe 5 of them working.Claim to always be too busy with their patients but they would always find time to chit chat in the hallways & to check themselves out in the big mirror. They don't like you changing or taking your own loved one to the bathroom because they have their way of doing it. This place needs to be shut down. There is not enough staff to attend to their patients and the one that are there are busy staring at their phones.
