Since 1928, Valley residents have flocked here for fajitas, enchiladas, tamales and that favorite border-style breakfast, Huevos Rancheros (eggs smothered in green chile and tomato sauce, served with beans, rice and tortillas). The "Mary Lou," a folded cheese crisp that is a true Arizona tradition, makes a great shared appetizer. Mexican and Latin American live music plays on Friday and Saturday nights, Wednesdays feature Swing Time and Mariachis play on Sundays. Check website for more.

The food was good. Unfortunately the server wasn’t to good. Sled for another drink but it took another 15 minutes to get it. By that time we were ready to leave. Maybe she had too many tables.

Los Olivos provides delicious Mexican food in a truly unique environment. Their fresh lime margaritas are the best! They appreciate their loyal customers and treat everyone well. They hire excellent Mariachi bands which provides a nice background ambiance. Hate to say it, but I've been going there since 1978 when I first visited Arizona and my husband, who is a native Arizonan, has been going since he was a toddler. We still love our times at Los Olivos!

My guess it’s probably one of the oldest family Mexican food restaurants in Scottsdale and its very good and friendly! Be prepared to have to wait it’s crowded but tasty 😋
