Typical tex-mex The food is good, but not too much different from other Mexican restaurants. The prices were great! We went on a weekend had two meals and dessert for under $20.
Rough Neighborhood, Not-So-Rough Prices I wouldn't recommend driving from North Dallas to downtown just to visit Los Lupes. But if you're in the area (I used to work about 4 miles away) stop by for the all-you-can-eat lunch. Bring about $5.50 . . . and be prepared to take a nap when you get back to work! It is truly an all-you-can-eat deal, there's good variety and you hate to stop 'til you just can't go another bite. I've never had any of the invidual plates; the buffet is my vice.
