We travel for work a lot usually pay to much for a crappy hotel that looks great in pictures. But this place is by far the best we have stayed at. The grounds are beautiful, the view is great and the staff go above and beyond. The convenience of having a restaurant/bar on the property makes it even better. There are things to do for me during the day and relaxing in the evening is peaceful. It may not be a 5 star to some but to me it beats a hotel with no where to escape to outside your room.
I am unhappy with the wifi/internet access. It has been down for a number of days and the front desk has been unsupportive. They won't even answer the phone from the room. I've had to call in from their 800 number to get them to pick up.
Had my 45th & 50th class reunion at the Lodge & stayed there both times too.. Food & everything was fantastic!! Rooms were great.. Only complaint I had was internet & Wi fi was TERRIBLE!!
It brings back many fond memories. It is "old"Los Gatos and I appreciate it very much
The rooms were mediocre. The price was good, we were there for my sons wedding and had a large group, meaning at least ten to fifteen rooms. My husband and I had to change rooms when the heater was turned on, it left a burning, or burnt smell in the room. Another couple had to change rooms due to there being a large wet spot on their mattress.
