Surgeon was rude and moved an appointment and then cancelled it with no explanation. This review is for his lack of bedside manner.
I finally got around to posting on here, but I will forever be grateful for Dr. Seruya and all the medical team that worked along side my mothers case. My mom was already bed ridden when I reached out to Dr. Seruya for help. My mom had very severe leg nerve pain and also right hip nerve pain due to diabetes complications . Wow!! It's been a long long time since I've walked into a doctor's office and every single staff person that I came in contact with that helped me get through my surgical and healing journey were beyond professional. Dr. Seruya, is absolutely amazing! His bedside manner and treatment overall is priceless. Unfortunately, you just don't encounter his kind of professionalism anymore. I consulted with Dr.Mitchell Seruya for a condition caused by another previous surgery that went horribly wrong and caused paralysis in my right arm called C5 Palsy! Long story short, I’ve just had my 3rd surgery with Dr Seruya . He’s an amazing doctor hands down ! I’m still recovering but expect a full recovery soon
I had occipital nerve release surgery with Dr. Seruya. Before I scheduled surgery with him I'd consulted with 5 other surgeons. 4 of those surgeons left me feeling dismissed and uncomfortable with the prospect of such a delicate surgery in a part of my body that had already caused me so much grief. The 5th was a top neurosurgeon at UCLA and had a lot of the same green flags, but was out of network.
