It's the best area to go for conventions and expos. I love going to the los Angeles Convention Center for Anime Expos and for Gaming. Best place in Los Angeles ❤️

great events, very well organized, easy acces and a lot of public transport.
Food trucks are awesome and there are outlets randomly so you can charge your phone. Those are the good things. Be prepared to freeze and have no where to sit except the floor. There’s not enough staff to keep the bathrooms repaired, stocked or cleaned.
Was at the Anime Convention with my granddaughter. Lots of people but very much under control. Felt secure👍
