BEWARE! I lived in the building for just over 1 year. My next door neighbor was murdered, other homicides and suicides in bldg. My apartment was broken into by prowlers at night. Our mailroom was robbed multiple times. Garage broken into often, Parking gates not open. Front courtyard routine homeless sleep there.Stained glass doors broken. Neon on roof doesnt work. elegant community in the midst of los angeles when i came here to the Los Altos Hotel Apartments it was simply for a tour. i was greeted in the lobby by the manager and by a tenant with such warm welcome and i hadn't even seen the apartment yet. in our interview we sat in the huge Hearst Castle style lobby in front of a massive fireplace and enjoyed the luxurious environment's peace of what was to become my new home. i hadn't moved in 24 yrs and was looking for the perfect place. a place that was not only lovely but that als... read more
