My family and I went last night and had a poor experience at best. Our server was very inattentive. I also learned that when you order $15 fish tacos, this means you literally get 3 tortillas with a piece of dry fish and nothing else.... to top it off.... the bus boy threw out all of our food we were going to take home by the time I got up to get my own set of to-go boxes. In retrospect, it would of felt more gratifying to light $65 on fire than going there to eat.
We were with a large party. Drinks were slow on refills. Most of the meals were messed up such as no onions and peppers and served with it. Fajitas were on the edge of being burnt. Our waitress had a brake down durring this disaster. I don't think we will ever go to any of the locations ever again.
Love the new Iowa City location! Beautiful restaurant, great service and great food. My boyfriend and I moved to Iowa City 6 months ago and have had a hard time finding a mexican restaurant that we love, but I think we found our place! Will definitely be coming back!
Stick to the Davenport location....service is soooo much better!!
