RecommendedI used AHW for the first time recently with a new foster dog. The process was very easy with all COVID regulations. All the staff I dealt with or spoke to was top notch! Very professional, polite & helpful. Looking forward to future visits.

I have been a client of this office for a long time. Yesterday the veterinarians that treat poultry etc were closed. Considering this WAS my vet I called to ask for some advice. I got laughed at and was given no insight what so ever. The office manager emailed me and told me they DIDNT HAVE TIME TO LOOK UP NUMBERS OF SOMEONE I COULD CALL TO HELP ME!! It was an urgent matter but they didn’t have TIME!! They suck watch who you have tending to your fur babies!!!

We apologize that we could not prescribe medications for your chicks per your request. Virginia law states that we must have a working relationship with the patient in order to write a prescription. Since we do not see poultry, we do not have this relationship. I can't say enough good things about the veterinarians and staff here. They truly have the most thoughtful, caring and compassionate team.
I love this place! Dr Reeding is the best veterinarian I have ever been to. She is so thoughtful and caring. The staff is great as well! I’ve been to others that are closer to Churchville, but after going here, I would never change!
I Absolutely love this place ... anytime they are open and I have an emergency they always accommodate me ! I can’t say enough about these doctors ! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
There is something truly remarkable about watching Dr. Reeder be my dog’s veterinarian. Every part of Scarlet’s annual exam and vaccinations today was completed with such skill and professionalism that I left in awe. I fully expected Scarlet to have a rough appointment while being poked and prodded and examined, but Dr. Reeder took her time with her, she made her comfortable, she won her over with treats and she completed the most through veterinarian exam I have ever witnessed, in addition to three vaccinations without so m... read more
I absolutely recommend this animal hospital they take great time and care to make sure your pet is healthy and happy they are kind and friendly and are a great pleasure to work with i wouldnt take my pet anywhere else these guys are the best 🥇💫 i rate this 5 star
