Dr. Loren Jones is the absolute best there is at what he does. I give him full credit for performing an emergency PCNL to save my life during the peak of covid in 2020. He also performed a bilateral ureteroscopy and made the experiences as easy and as comfortable as possible for me. When you're in a vulnerable position, being taken care of by a competent, kind, detail-oriented and experienced medical team is paramount. This was new to me, Dr. Jones explained the procedure. Was prompt in conducting the surgery, explained complication since I take blood thinners. I had to return to the hospital for a complication that was not his fault and he remedied the situation with the best and effective way to correct the problem. He was very prompt in his return times. He is trusted in the care of his patients.
Not very empathetic and yawned throughout the appointment. He did the bare minimum and told me to come back a month later (my issue got progressively worse and I went through other urologists)
As usual Dr. Jones was informative in our discussion and I left the appointment with a comfort and no worries about the path forward.
Great facility with a great caring team. This facility is a well runned office. And most importantly, Dr. Jones was awesome and really listened to my concern.
Hi I went to see Dr Jones and the staff at the Round Rock office and they help me with a problem that really I didn't know I was having so I went there for one thing and they found something elseand I feel like a different man I would highly recommend the Urology team
Dr. Loren, on-call at St. Davids hospital.. Recommended treatment without even looking at CT. Stated he could get lithotripsy scheduled same day, then stated on on Friday and then finally stated his office would call me next week. 10mm kidney stone horrible pain. Placed stent - did not check on me after procedure, did not return nurses calls, did not prescribe adequate post-op pain meds. In bed, in horrible pain. Happy I was able to get an appointment with a different doctor in the morning.
On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd give Dr. Jones and his group a 12 ... Over the top ... Thanks guys and Merry Christmas.
Dr. Jones is always very personable and the staff very attenitive
