Great food and service since 1978

My family (Wayne & Jolene Burke) and I began eating at Lopez in 1978 when they opened. I've moved away from the Houston area, but try to eat at Lopez when I am in town. It never disappoints. It was a small space in the nearby strip mall when it opened. I'm thrilled to see that Mr. and Mrs. Lopez and their three children have grown it into the legacy it is today. I admire and appreciate their hard work and success. They have earned it and truly deserve it!
This place was really nice. The best part of it is the older gentleman that walks around greeting and refills cups is the most cutest. I so enjoyed talking to him that I will drive back to to see him. Oh and the food was delicious also.
The beef fajita enchiladas were great!!

Great Tex-Mex food, excellent service. We celebrated at our beloved FreddieJo Whitton’s fav restaurant, “Lopez” today. She went to heaven 5 years ago today, & we wanted to continue her legacy & tradition. Mr. Lopez & Edgar were her favs!
