"The Pez" is definately the BEST!!
Me and my family have been going to "The Pez" since it opened a very long time ago. We have ALL of our birthday and other family get together dinners here and have been doing so for at least 25 years that I can remember since they used to be in a little space right down the street from the new place. They are always packed even after moving to the bigger location! But it IS most definately worth the wait!! I even have 3 tiles that me & my husband made to have put up on the wall when they 1st opened the big new place! Mr. Lopez ALWAYS personally comes over to our table and calls us by name to say hello and makes sure that everything is great, which it always is!! I would recommend Lopez to anyone to try and once you try it, you will be hooked!! I even call in orders to go and eat at home when I'm by myself. I can never resist when my dad says "Wanna go to "the Pez?"!! In fact, we just went 3 days ago!

Good old Tex-Mex at its finest!
"Lopez" as known by so many in the area, is a family-owned operation that has been in business for over 25 years that I know of, and how much longer than that I am not exactly sure. They are open Monday through Saturday, and they do a big business every day. I believe the chief reason for this is the quality of their food combined with consistent quality. Every meal I've ever enjoyed at Lopez has been just as good as the one before it. They have never, ever disappointed me. That is quite a record! And on top of that, their prices are very reasonable! It's also a rather festive place to enjoy a meal with lots of happy diners and families and other groups who come there often. And the service is excellent on top of all this. Many members of their wait staff have been there for years and years, which in itself speaks well for the establishment. PROS: Best Tex-Mex food in the greater Houston area CONS: Sometimes a little noisy because of all the happy diners talking!

I have been eating here for a few years now and I love this place. If you love Mex and haven't tried this place yet, you are missing out. Everything is good. Best all around Mex in Town

One of the best!
My husband discovered this place a long time ago when he went there with some guys from work. Back then it was a hole in the wall, but now they've got a nice new building to go along with their first-class food. They have some of the best items on the menu, including a spinach enchilada that will knock your socks off. The owners and everyone who works there are very nice and cordial, as well. It's a wonderful dining experience.

Always excellent Tex-Mex food. One of my all time favorite places to go. Reasonable prices. Efficent and friendly wait staff. If you like great Tex-Mex food, then this is the place to go. Family owned and operated.

Lopez is The Best!
Lopez restaurant has been around for over 25 years. I love this place. We love to get the enchilada dinner. Everything on the menu is great. Mr. Lopez is always going around to personally greet you and make you feel at home. We moved to the other side of town and we still drive across town we want to get real mexican food. The best mexican food ever!
