I went there for the first time last month on a visit we made from California to Oregon (we're moving up shortly) and the Looney Bean was an EXCELLENT breath of fresh air from the Starbucks that I'm used to.I just love little known coffee shops and you guys definitely rock!I will definitely be back when we move!
Coffees were extremely hot. . Burned my mouth. Service was not that great and didn't follow instructions for drinks.
Tasty coffee drinks and a wonderfully friendly staff! The riverside greenspace behind the shop is great if you care to take a seat and enjoy the weather.

What a great coffee shop! The atmosphere is so inviting, there is a large, delicious coffee/tea selection, and the employees are very friendly. This place gets hopping so inside seating can be limited, but there is a plethora of seating in the backyard that overlooks the Deschutes River :) Looney Bean will become your regular spot!
Like the vibes, love the yard and riverfront Like the owners...very cool. A very soothing break.
Best blended mocha in town. Best riverfront cool backyard with awesome assortment of lawn chairs too. Great place to meet other writers working on a novel!
