Derek is very knowledgeable of all aspects of log homes. He helped me in the inspection process and knew exactly what needed to be repaired. Derek also has extensive knowledge in the construction of homes. I highly recommend his company for any log related business.
Not a real company and did some research Derek Freeman is unlicensed (lost his license years ago) working under another company “real log homes”. Made me pull my own permits for the home because he legally can’t. Demanded a large sum of money to find contractors after the dry in was poorly done. Unprofessional throughout the build and would get an attitude when things were checked on or asks to be fixed. Derek was with us from start to finish explaining each step of the process. I had never had a log home built before and I wouldn't have understood all that needed done. Derek was professional, patient, and so responsive to all our needs. The quality of workmanship is amazing! Our chalet style log home is absolutely beautiful! Thank you Derek!
Derek Freeman took over the construction of our log home after we let two builders go due to costly mistakes, sub-standard and incomplete work they did over an 18 month period. He came in with his team in early 2018 and in 6 months took our cabin from a complete disaster to near completion. Derek and his team restored our home and our faith in humankind. I highly recommend Derek for any work you need; he is an honest builder, does excellent work and is very fair in his pricing. I will post more current photos soon.
