Went to Lonnie's for lunch today. Amazed again, the meat is delicious BEST BBQ in town. Inviting friends from fb. Thanks Lonnie.
Just left Lonnie's with a full belly and a smile on my face. I'm a regular but this is my first review...Food is always 5 star..service is excellent! Everything on the menu is good...Brisket being my favorite, cheesy tators to die for. Thanks Lonnie for making it feel like home....
Passed through last Monday on the way to Salina for work. The food was incredible and you can tell Lonnie takes pride in his work (and serves the customers behind the counter!). He should - the food was excellent and portions were awesome. Simple menu with delicious food. We ended up coming back AGAIN the same week for ribs - good choice, the rub is ridiculously good.
The very first time we went in December 2013 it was great! We showed up about 15 minutes before the end of a busy lunch rush so they'd just finished the pulled pork and cheesy taters. Instead we had the brisket, turkey and got baked bean & cole slaw. Everything was delicious. Today we went early for lunch and were able to get both the pulled pork and cheesy taters, it was better than I imagined. Went here for the first time today, Lonnie said he hoped it was good for me. Oh dang, it was! Can't believe I never knew about Lonnie Q's before today. I'm for sure coming back many times in the future! Soooo good! Thanks for making such great food!
