Ok, this place is on a different level. And that level is so high that other BBQ places look like ants to it. Each thing we tried was the he very best example of that thing that I have ever tried. Spareribs, Mac & cheese, brisket, even the coleslaw. I didn't know smoke could penetrate such huge meaty ribs all the way to the bone. Maybe it can't. Perhaps the laws of physics are different inside Lonnie's smoker. Anyway, the bar is now very high.
I finally got over to Lonnie Q's BBQ, and I'm so mad I didn't make it over before! It's DELICIOUS! Justin ordered me the Q Cup, one delicious BBQ bite layered on top of another. Lonnie's is my new favorite!!
This was my first time here, and I was not disappointed. Incredibly friendly and some of the best BBQ I've ever had.
My wife, son, and I just ate at Lonnie's for the first time. Great food. Excellent service, & Lonnie is a great guy who loves to interact with his customers. He even gave us some ribs and free ice cream! This place has 3 of my favorite things; Bikes, Guitars, & Bar-B-Q! Check it out - you will not be disappointed.
