Dr. Davis was fantastic in talking through my problems, ensuring that I got all my questions answered, and making sure we all had a plan to fix anything that needed to be fixed. I would advise anyone looking for a fantastic doctor to choose Dr. Davis
Unfortunately, I have seen several ortho surgeons over the years. Dr Davis is unmatched in his bedside manner, care and professionalism. He is thorough in his examination and explanation of treatment options. He is also punctual and takes the time needed to answer my questions. It never feels good having to go see your doctor, however, every time I see Dr Davis, I leave feeling very grateful to be in his care.
I've seen Dr Davis regularly this year before and after he did arthroscopic surgery on my knee. He tried several other therapeutic options before he operated to make sure there wasn't a simpler way to fix my problem. He's personable and always willing to answer my questions thoroughly.
Very professional, extremely adept at passing knowledge on me in a very relatable, clear way. I left with a much better understanding of the reason I booked the appointment.
I had a labrum repair done by Dr. Lonnie Davis. I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. In the appointment before surgery he explained the entire procedure with props and then showed me an animated video of what the actual surgery would entail. The surgery went great, in and out in the same day. My post op has been easy and at the post op visit Dr. Davis answered all my questions and gave me pictures from the surgery to show exactly what he did. Dr Davis performed my first knee replacement last April. I would not go to anyone else to do my next replacement in February. I highly recommend Dr Davis!
Had a very horrible experience with Dr. Davis. I went to the Dr. with a minor meniscus tear. A MRI showed a minor outer tear. The Dr. recommended a minor surgery to correct it. I went with the surgery after assurances from Dr. that I will be much better after surgery. My anticipated week long recovery turned into months of physiotherapy, multiple draining of the knee etc. Since the swelling of the knee persisted, a second MRI was done. The new MRI suggested that the original tear was still there
Went to Dr. Davis on my GP's recommendation for a second opinion on a torn bicep muscle. He was thorough, straight with me (said I didn't need the surgery but gave me the pro's and con's) and picked up on the fact that my first MD misdiagnosed the location of the tear. He was patient in his explanations and understandable and welcomed my questions. I have full faith in him and although I didn't have the surgery, I felt he had integrity to try not to "sell me" on unnecessary surgery.
