My favorite doctor ever! I was seeing Dr. Davis for my shoulder pain when I also happened to tear my ACL. Worst time of my life, a lot of pain, so I was so happy to have him as my doctor! He took time to explain what exactly happened, how he was going to fix it, what he needed for me to do to heal fast. Amazing bedside manner and patience! Dr Davis is a fine, thoughtful, and careful physician. You can trust him to get it right.
Dr. Davis is personable and takes the time to explain his diagnosis and lay out options. He repaired my torn distal bicep tendon and I am thankful he was my surgeon. I highly recommend him as an outstanding physician. OrthoBethesda’s receptionists, medical assistants, staff are all friendly and efficient as well.
Dr. Davis’s persistent concern for his patients is his most salient characteristic. His concern breeds conscientiousness; I can count on him to get to the bottom of my health issues, and to fix them when possible. In addition, Dr. Davis is a gentle, caring presence, unlike many surgeons in that regard.
I saw four doctors for a sports injury to my knee. Of all four Dr. Davis was far and away the best experience. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable, taking the time to explain how he came to his diagnosis and lay out my options. I left feeling confident I my path forward and that I’d learned something. Lonnie Davis is exceptional.
Something about talking to Dr. Davis just made me feel comfortable. There aren't a lot of doctors who've made me feel that way. He was quick but attentive.
I was able to get in quickly and had a short wait to see him. Dr. Davis was gentle and kind. I appreciated how he treated the problem in my knee by draining and cortisone, but also provided me with imaging orders in the event the problem came back. I really appreciated getting the order, saving me a lot of time when it was clear that further investigation was required. It was a torn meniscus that ultimately needed surgery.
Pleasant office and personnel. Efficient staff. Services provided were excellent.
Dr Davis explained my problem very clearly and told me what to do to elevate it. I liked him. Only problem with my visit was the very long wait—over an hour. I felt very relieved that my pain was relatively minor and I can fix it with some simple exercises and heat and cold.
