RecommendedOur Rugar "Fluff" a 10 1/2 month old Akita came down with Parvo on Monday night. We weren't able to get him in to Long Vet Clinic Monday so he stayed the night at Blue Pearl and we brought him to Long Vet Clinic first thing Tuesday morning. They cared for our baby as if he were their own. We had constant updates and were told to call as often as we like to see how he is. Thursday night he made a turn for the worse. Love this place. I’m familiar with a few vets from rescuing and each time I come here I’m impressed. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable as are the doctors. And they’re obviously busy, with the line of cars in the lot and people waiting at the window but the staff still remains grounded and patient. This well organized place not only has the service side down, they seem atop of their work as well; I was able to speak science and biology understandably to better equip myself as a puppy parent. I’ve never had an experience where I didn’t have to drag or carry my dog into the vet. But, just left the vet with my dog and she was so excited to go in for her appointment. Thank y’all!
because the still perform a horrific barbaric procedure of declawing cats!!!! any vet that still does this should be ashamed of themselves!!
Can I ask why you are still declawing? We in the veterinary industry are supposed to protect the 5 basic freedoms of animals and declawing impacts all of them in some way. Follow the multitude of other countries where the procedure is illegal and stop it. For the cats wellbeing, stop declawing
They have such an amazing staff & vets. We won’t take our dogs anywhere else. They are affordable too unlike a lot of the vets in the area.
My dogs and horses have had the best care at Long Veterinary Clinic. High recommend them.
