I had to take a sick guinea pig to Dr. Breckwoldt on a Sunday night. The facility was clean and he was incredibly helpful and informative. We were in and out in about an hour and a half and got the medicine needed to fix her up. Hopefully we won't need an emergency vet again, but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Additionally, the bill was surprisingly low for an emergency visit to an exotics vet.
I'm a new small business owner and VERY short on funds at the moment. So tonight, when my cat Hemi was diagnosed with a urinary blockage, I was afraid I would have to make the choice of whether I could afford to save my kitty's life. Dr. Phillips and the overnight staff flushed out the crystals and got the blockage cleared, and Hemi is now curled up on the bed at home, giving me a very offended look but out of danger. I'm so relieved and so grateful, and they were incredibly nice to us every step of the way.
Our dog got clipped by a car in the neighborhood and it was after hours for our vet. Since we are in Rock Hill, we had to drive to Charlotte, and the closest that I could find was Long. I called them and they checked me in over the phone. When we arrived, our dog was taken back immediately to make sure he was stable. Luckily it was only a laceration on his leg, but to be sure, we had them do x-rays. Staff is so caring, respectful, sensitive and just all around amazing.
Everyone at Long Animal Hospital is so nice and professional. Having been in this field as a Practice Administrator, I value their time, training and attention to details. Making us feel like family is a huge bonus!! Adrian Popa always takes such good care when my girls are boarding!!
