RecommendedLong animal hospital, is hands down the best animal care facility I’ve felt with. We’ve chose to use them on 3 times now, all 3 were unfortunately emergency visits 2 of them middle of the night visits. They are so patient and kind. They care about the animals and their family’s. I encourage all pet parents to take this review into serious consideration, despite the length. On 10/4/18 I went to Long around midnight with two, 3 month old rescue puppies I'd had for two weeks. They were having body tremors, unable to hold their bowels and foaming at the mouth. Dr. Phillips examined the dogs in the back, and returned (without an introduction of himself) to tell me he was not seeing any reason to keep them for further testing or observation. The entire staff at Long are amazing every time I’m there with Harley or Dozer. Jenny is always energetic and sweet, and Harley loves seeing her when I have to board her. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Yasin.... he is the only doctor I completely trust with my babies!!!! He truly cares and it shows with every interaction or whenever I have a question he responds so quickly. Jax would not be alive today if it wasn’t for the knowledge of the caring doctors and staff here at Long. I will forever be in debt to the wonderful, doctors and staff.
I just wanted to let everyone know what a wonderful experience we had. Our baby boy, Denver, makes crystals and had to have a perineal urethrostomy. Dr. Powalie was the first doctor that we saw and Dr. Brian Killough did his surgery. There are very few clinics in the Charlotte area that do the surgery, therefore the prices are astronomical. If it was not for Long animal hospital, we would have lost our baby. Their prices for this surgery was half of what other clinics were. They saved my babies life and made it affordable. My Minature Schnauzers have always had the best care at Long Animal Hospital. They are the best.
This hospital has a issue with treating shelter pets and rescued animals . Has repeatedly misdiagnosed animals rescued after being turned in to shelters by owners who did not give medical care.
