About this business

Located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, this restaurant resides in a saloon-style building loaded with Western ambiance. Horse saddles hang from the walls and a large wooden bar stretches across the dining room. A tin ceiling adds to the rustically authentic charm. Chef and owner Tim Love is a native Texan, which is obvious in his most-requested specialty, roasted garlic-stuffed beef tenderloin. Other menu items emulate Italian, Spanish, Mexican and Asian fare, including the buffalo rib eye and quail quesadillas.

Easily one of the best meal/experiences we’ve had. With all the unique & unusual game menu items to choose from, it was difficult to decide what to order. Our waiter, Christopher, took excellent care of us & deftly walked us through options. We chose the Elk Sliders & Kangaroo Carpaccio to start & then moved on to the absolutely delicious Iberico Pork Secreto & the Rocky Mountain Elk Loin. The Hen of the Woods, Swiss Chard & Candied Grapes were perfect compliments to the Elk Loin. Top 10 dish ever. Wow! All the items are so ... read more

The menu was a bit eclectic for me- kangaroo, antelope, quail....but also steaks but which were pricey- priced by the ounce. My steal head trout was pretty bland. Appetizers very good and the desert was also.
