Recommendedone of our favorite places to go. Elk sliders are a must try, the smoked bourbon, signature cocktails and buffalo rib eye are delicious. Ask for Wilson he's amazing.
We went Lonesome Dove in downtown Fort Worth this weekend for our friends 20th year anniversary and we told the server at the beginning of the meal. Server forgot and brought out a plate of Walmart sugar cookies. We asked to speak to the manager. The General Manger Garret Cox came out and said “What are you a food critic? The food and service was the best I've ever had
Best jalapeño cucumber margarita ever!!! The salad is phenomenal, Wild boar ribs, rattle snake sausage and orzo Mac and cheese are absolutely to die for! Then the steak....you can’t get a more flavorful tender steak than this!!! Lonesome Dove is the real deal! Great atmosphere and with Tim Love at the helm, nothing compares!

I took my wife to Lonesome Dove for our 9th anniversary after reading some great online reviews. Those reviews were dead on. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. They have a huge wine menu and we had an excellent Merlot recommended by their staff. For our first course we sampled Elk sliders with a blueberry jam and lobster cakes with a black bean salsa.
