Two years ago, my wife and I were married at The Lonesome Dove. We decided to spend our anniversary trying to recreate our wedding experience. Wilson, our server, went so far above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing evening! Well Wilson...you hit it out of the park!!! The food was beyond exceptional as always, but the extensive personal service we received put it over the top. The Lonesome Dove staff definitely know the meaning of customer service. Great Job!!
We were drawn to the Lonesome Dove by Chef Tim Love's reputation and having seen him on Food Network and Top Chef Masters... we loved the lobster hush puppies and pazole stew with lamb bacon, my daughter had the buffalo ribeye and I had the chicken fried steak... it was a fantastic meal!! The service was great, the restaurant was cozy and the attention to detail from beginning to end was impeccable.
Everything was absolutely delicious!! My husband and I went for our 5 year wedding anniversary and everyone was so amazing!!! The staff even got us card for our anniversary!! We will definitely be going back!!!

Delightful evening at the Stockyards. Lonesome Dove was a great pick for great drinks, dining, and service! Forman wine was excellent. Sommelier, knowledgeable and accommodating. Waiter, Scott, equally knowledgeable in his craft and excellent attentiveness. Chicken fried steak was mouth watering. Elk loin was splendidly prepared. Thank you for an evening to remember for celebrating 35 and 36 years....with the Formans!
