Located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, this restaurant resides in a saloon-style building loaded with Western ambiance. Chef and owner Tim Love is a native Texan, which is obvious in his most-requested specialty, roasted garlic-stuffed beef tenderloin. For Restaurant Week my wife and I decided to try Tim Love’s Lonesome Dove Bistro at the Stockyards in Ft. Worth. $210 lunch, good presentation, 1:00ish past lunch rush seating was completely open. Cocktails delightful, appetizers good. Salad, main course, and deserts were good. Not bad for Restaurant week.
