About this business

Located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, this restaurant resides in a saloon-style building loaded with Western ambiance. Horse saddles hang from the walls and a large wooden bar stretches across the dining room. A tin ceiling adds to the rustically authentic charm. Chef and owner Tim Love is a native Texan, which is obvious in his most-requested specialty, roasted garlic-stuffed beef tenderloin. Other menu items emulate Italian, Spanish, Mexican and Asian fare, including the buffalo rib eye and quail quesadillas.

At the time we attended: wasn't crowded, however steady. Waitress was very knowledgeable of the dishes, pleasurable and attentive. Adult atmosphere but relaxing. The food was excellent! We were in town for 4 nights and ate at several highly recommend 5 star restaurant.... by far this one is a must revisit!

Went for a special occasion/birthday. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. Our waiters name was Wilson and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

If the food had been prepared well, I'm sure it would have been delicious. Unfortunately, most things were overcooked. Our elk sliders were burned. My garlic stuffed tenderloin was served lukewarm and was burned instead of seared. The wild boar ribs were flavorful, but a little dry. The best parts of the meal were the lobster hush puppies and the truffle mac and cheese, but that wasn't enough to earn more than 3 stars from me. Tonight we ate at the steakhouse in our hotel and it was spectacular. I'm so sorry I wasted a vacat... read more
