I have bought two cars ('23 Silverado and '23 Traverse) from this dealership and the first time they falsely advertised the price but made it right. Called today and once again they have falsely advertised the price on a '24 Z71 Colorado. They said they updated the site but when I refresh it is still there. it is a $10,000 difference.
On the morning of August 30, 2024, I discovered a vehicle for sale for $22,797 on ******* *** ****. I went to the Lone Star website & verified the information. I immediately filled out the contact form. Gabriel quickly replied via email and we corresponded about the vehicle. I scheduled an appointment via phone and was told I would receive an email. I never received an email so I called to confirm the appointment. When I arrived to my appointment I was assigned to Mary. She asked me questions I never had to answer before, which I chalked up as “no big deal.” She asked for my phone number and I told her. Then she asked if I would be hanging around, I said yes. Purchased a ‘24 Tahoe and it was one of the best car buying experiences I have had in 27 years. The new car price was fair and my trade-in value was reasonable. I can’t speak to the service department yet, but happy so far.
Our experience with Johnny ***** was second to none. Our sales associate was O.B. he was straight up person and not like a shark lol. Every part of our experience was pleasant, really enjoyed Elvis at the end with setting stuff up etc. This is a place where you can just hang out if u want , it's truly like a family . I requested a price offer for a Chevrolet Colorado ZR1. The website had a price of $40,791 and Chevrolet rebate of $750, making the advertised price of $40,041. When I asked to see what they would do, I eventually received an email with an out the door price of $46,605.08, which included the $750 rebate and $500 recent collage graduate rebate. Be wary of any deal or agreement you don't have specifically in writing with this dealership. I ordered a new Corvette from this dealership in 2019 and picked it up in 2020. When I was placing the order, we agreed that I would be able to order one of the new 2023 Z06 when they were available and would trade my 2020 Corvette in at that time. I had (am having) a horrible experience with Lone Star’s service department. I originally took my car in for an oil change and was told I had an oil leak. My service plan covered the cost of the repair and I was able to pick up my car after 6 days. The day after picking up my car, it stops on me on my way to work. I tow the vehicle back to Lone Star and my service rep (not using his name because he wasn’t rude throughout this mess) says the service technician will take a look at it. They pulled my car without permission from their dealership to ******** ****and left it there. The lone star's manager pretended to honor the repair bill to ********** service rep because lone star mechanics didn't have the expertise to fix it. I received a phone call from ******** about my car because lone star left no info about my car other than writing my name on a slip of paper, key and the car dumped into their lot.
