Carlo Lomeli, founder of Lomeli's Italian Restaurant, Inc., started his restaurant career in 1968, at age 14, as a busboy for Sala's Italian Restaurant in Lawndale. By age 16, Carlo realized that he had a tremendous passion for cooking; while at Sala's he learned how to cook and became their main chef. Great food (as usual!) at a very reasonable price! We ordered the #1 Combo & the #2 Combo with the $1.99 soup/salad/garlic bread/wine add-on. Plus for the 1st time, we ordered a pizza (the supreme) & it was delicious!!!!!! We came home with Lots of leftovers....enough for dinner tonight & maybe even lunch tomorrow! A very delicious, relaxing night!

My husband and i have been coming here for 14 years and we absolutely love it! Everything from the atmosphere to the wonderful customer service is the best, but the food...... omgoodness!!!!! You have to try it, you wont regret it!

The food is amazingly delicious. Wonderful service. Very nice people working there. Definitely going back do some more fettuccine alfredo.
My boo took me here for our 1 year anniversary. The food was delicious and the wine. Great service will be back again.
