I want to start by saying this was the worst hospital stay I have experienced in over 50 years. When I was first brought to my room, the very first thing I noticed was the condition of the floors. They were filthy—paper scraps, syringe caps, dust, and dirt were scattered throughout the room. It was shocking to see such poor cleanliness in a hospital setting. My husband has been a patient at Loma Linda for five years. Every time he has needed to go to the emergency room, it has been chaotic. He is a complex patient with multiple organ diseases. His kidneys were compromised due to heart failure and the actions of the cardiology team.
