It seems you can have adequate insurance (I have one of the best health plans in my industry) but if you don’t do things exactly how they want, you’re out of luck. I’m just trying to schedule an appointment for symptoms I’ve been struggling with for over a year. They entered my insurance incorrectly, told me they were out of network, and never informed me. If your loved one has special needs like trach and vent care don’t send them here if you want them to live. My son got neglected in the icu and he is no longer with us because of their neglect.plus they overdosed him on Fentanyl during a bronch test. Which they did without my consent. The Respiratory therapist and he knows who he is would not change his defective trach w a leaky balloon and it caused him to desaturate.
