This center is a non-profit facility and a great for place for education, preservation and monitoring of one of the world's most active sea turtle nesting grounds. The center acts as a school, providing internships, tours and programs. Plus the park's amenities include a guarded beach, nature trails and picnic areas, but the main attractions are the leatherback sea turtles.

The people there are so friendly and caring ! It was a great visit.
What a wonderful place! The turtles are obviously well cared for. The volunteers and staff were so welcoming and helpful, and seemed to enjoy being there as much as we did! We all learned so much -- the #1 thing we learned is to reserve waaaay early for turtle walks and hatchling releases! But even if you aren't able to get into one of those groups, don't miss this place. Absolutely worth a trip!
It was amazing! If you really love sea turtles it is a great place to go with kids it's not everyday where you have the opportunity
